Nikes on my Feet

September 12, 2020

Shot during a visit to the Aga Khan museum, located in Toronto.

The contrast between the details of the shoes and the varieties of different greys found in the metal grate produces a standout effect for the fine details on the the shoe. Creasing, dirty stitching, as well as the overall texture of the shoe is only further complimented by the angle of the sun. Shot while walking, the focus point is actually the very tip of the shoe where most of its detail lies. As you follow down the side of the shoe, the texture seems to fade away due to the mix of focal point and shadows on the side of the shoe.
